The LSX 2025 is a Line Simulator with active components. All line parameters are software adjustable.
To setup a new standard it is not necessary to change any hardware. Only the corresponding standard/recommendation settings need to be downloaded in the Copper Network Builder (CNB) software. The Copper Network Builder Software is a user friendly Windows based GUI, who is made to setup and change all the parameters like line length, attenuation, DC resistance, propagation delay, group delay, characteristic impedance, etc.
Once the LSX 2025.x configuration has been setup, you will be able to do performance and compliance testing for all current and future DSL applications up to 4.5 MHz.
